As experienced art dealers, Jennifer and BJ have been involved in the Richmond market collectively for over fifteen years. Located at 1620 West Main Street, the glave kocen gallery has been a part of the art market in Richmond, Virginia since its inception in June 2007.
The gallery is interested in attracting new clients—artists and buyers—as well as maintaining established artists and art collectors through positive pieces; hence, they “always have positive art.” Kocen views art as “a direct effect of the change of the times.” And in our stressed economy, they have created a place where buyers can enter the gallery and feel a sense of calm as well as a sense of invigoration; a place to appreciate, to enjoy, and to become revitalized in art: “Especially in these times, positive artwork is needed.”
